We all know the saying "THE CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE" and it is one we at VINCERO appreciate.
The motto "THE FUTURE IS OUR ARTIST" is our interpretation of this thought, as well as a commitment of investing in the future.
At Vincero we understand this as the active interlacing of knowledge and experience of the mentors and musicians from the ranks of the professional saxophone orchestra SOS and the youth and freshness of the members of the youth orchestra SOS Junior.
We are a company that, while marketing instruments and musical equipment, maintains a distinct artistic and pedagogical orientation, and so when selling a saxophone or clarinet we see in front of us a musician, whom we wish to advise at the highest professional standards and according to their needs.
The AS International Music Festival is a saxophone-themed event addressing a wide audience, amateurs and professionals alike, with a vision of becoming the central event of its type in this part of Europe.
It is duly named after Belgian instrument inventor Adolphe Sax, whose most famous invention is the SAXOPHONE itself.
The AS Festival was first organised in 2014 as a commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the great man’s birth. After 2 renditions on a national scale, the 3rd annual AS Festival, in 2017, outgrew national bounds, as it featured over 250 saxophonists coming from Slovenia, Austria, and Hungary.
The Festival also strives to attract a wider audience, which is why we pay special attention to the diversity of our musical programmes.
The artistic director of the festival is prof. Lev Pupis.
Allow me to lay out the program for this year’s ALPSAXSUMMER festival. Kranjska gora, a world renowned ski resort, will host this year’s summer school for saxophone, concerts and other related activities, all organized by SEKVOJA cultural society.
The purpose of the festival is to allow young musicians to remain in contact with music and their instrument during the summer vacation and to further develop their musical knowledge and abilities.
All participants will attend individual lessons, and will have the option of participating in chamber music ensembles, where they can play and socialize with their peers.
The added value of the festival is the possibility of participation in the saxophone orchestra. The orchestra traditionally plays in the concert at the conclusions of the festival. Participants and guests are welcomed to attend free evening concerts organized to enrich the cultural and tourist offer of Kranjska Gora. They feature the mentors of the festival as well as an array of musical styles all focusing on the saxophone.
The festival includes a workshop led by master instrument maker ROBERTO BUTTUS entitled “How does my instrument work” and a chance to visit a musical fair of renowned instrument makers who will present some novelties. The participants will have a possibility to attend sports events and other activities to pass their free time.
The artistic director of the festival is prof. Lev Pupis. The work in the summer school is set in 2 levels.
The SOS saxophone orchestra was formed from the vision of maestro Roberto Buttus, renowned manufacturer and maintenance man of instruments, who also works together with Vincero. He and Lev Pupis invited renowned saxophonists from Slovenia, Croatia, and Poland to join them and in 2011 the SOS orchestra began actively performing.
The Saxplode saxophone octet is a chamber group formed in September 2016 at Lev Pupis’ initiative. The octet is made up of pupils of the Music and Ballet Conservatoire of Ljubljana. The pupils already played together in the SOS Junior saxophone orchestra, where they became friends and made their first chamber and orchestra steps.
SOS Junior is a youth saxophone orchestra which consists of approximately 40 members, its young saxophonists coming from 12 Slovene music schools.
Its primary goal is educating young players in orchestral performance and providing a creative environment which additionally motivates young musicians to engage in creating and performing music. One of our goals is also identifying exceptional musical talents in time, so that they can be properly and professionally instructed and oriented on their musical journey.

Udeležencem njihovih projektov zagotavljajo zelo oseben stik in svojim članom cenovno ugoden nakup dodatne opreme. Projekt Vincero je posebna dodatna nota in vrednost vsem saksofonistom.Edita Golob, mama Enje Golob, članice SOS junior
